Dworshak Dam and Reservoir
Located near Orofino, ID, on the North Fork of the Clearwater River. Waters of the reservoir extend more than 50 miles behind the dam, where over 150 mini-campsites are accessible by boat only. Big Eddy boat launch has picnic tables, a restaurant, bar, and small grocery store. Dent acres has 50 full RV hook-up sites and a sewage dump.
Elk River Falls Recreation Area
Located 54 miles east of Moscow, sparkling cascades plunge almost 300 feet into a picturesque forest canyon. Elk Creek and nearby Elk Creek Reservoir are active spots for catching rainbow and brook trout. The small community of Elk River is a great place to enjoy Huckleberry Heaven Lodge's famous huckleberry ice cream. The lodge has several guest rooms, a hot tub, dry goods/grocery store, and RV facilities.
Hells Gate State Park
The starting point into Hells Canyon, known as North America's deepest gorge.
Three miles sout of Lewiston on the Snake River, the 960-acre park features sandy beaches, RV and tent campgrounds, boat ramps, horseback riding, and steelhead fishing. Also, enjoy a walk or bicycle ride on the 11-mile levee system.
Just 38 miles north of Moscow and situated next to the Palouse River, this park has 28 campsites, picnic tables and a swimming area, all surrounded by lush pine and cedar trees.
Skyline Drive State Park
Features a spectacular view of the rolling Palouse hills. Skyline Drive winds over several mountain peaks for 25 miles. The mountains area covered with Douglas fir, Ponderosa pine, Beargrass, and wildflowers. Located north on Highway 95 approximately 25 miles.
Overlooks the city of Moscow with a bird's eye view of the beautiful Palouse countryside. Gravel and dirt roads wind around the ridge with cedar, pines, ferns, colorful flowers, and wildlife.

Spring Valley and Moose Creek Reservoir
Features a spectacularFavorite fishing holes for local residents. These small reservoirs are stocked with trout and bass. Boats with electric motors only. Picnic tables and restrooms are available at both locations.
